Erik X. Raj, Ph.D., CCC-SLP

Erik is a speech-language pathologist who works with individuals who stutter. He is currently an assistant professor and clinical supervisor in the Department of Speech-Language Pathology at Monmouth University in West Long Branch, New Jersey, where he conducts research that focuses on exploring computer and Internet technologies and its implementation to stuttering therapy and the education of fluency disorders. Erik regularly presents national and international workshops demonstrating how speech-language pathologists can use technology to motivate and teach clients with various communication disorders. As a proud member of the Camp Shout Out family since 2016, he genuinely enjoys the opportunity to connect with and learn from all of the fantastic campers, speech-language pathologists, and volunteers. When he isn't dreaming about the magic that is Camp Shout Out, you can find him tinkering with computers, studying the Polish language, and spending quality time with his terrific wife, Natalie, and his awesome son, Robert.
