Ana Paula is a trilingual speech-language pathologist, SLP program director and associate professor at East Texas Baptist University. She teaches Fluency Disorders at the graduate level and provides and supervises clinical services for people who stutter across the lifespan. She also presents frequently on the topic of stuttering at the local, state, and national level and is involved with the National Stuttering Association. Ana Paula is the co-founder and president of Spero Stuttering, Inc., a nonprofit organization that seeks to help, empower, and advocate for the stuttering community and their families by equipping those who work with people who stutter. She received the NSA's 2022 Professional of the Year award for her work and initiatives through Spero Stuttering. Ana Paula has been a part of the Camp Shout Out family since 2015. She loves seeing youth who stutter grow as communicators in a positive and motivating environment that is undergirded by a deep force of clinical and personal experience and expertise. CSO is always a highlight of her year! Ana Paula enjoys singing, writing, reading, and traveling with her husband and kids.
