Ms. Campbell is a member of the initial cadre of Board Recognized Fluency Specialists and has devoted much of her career to providing services to individuals with fluency disorders and their families. She has been influential in developing differential evaluation and treatment procedures and in the training of graduate students and professionals. Ms. Campbell began her career as a school-based clinician, and continued as a lecturer and clinical supervisor for twenty-five years at Northwestern University, where she spearheaded the school-age stuttering program. She has presented at local, national, and international levels and currently works in private practice in Carmel, California. She co-founded and taught the initial two-week Specialist Workshop co-sponsored by The Stuttering Foundation and Northwestern University for eighteen years, co-authored Stuttering Therapy, Rationales and Procedures with Dr. Hugo Gregory, Diane Hill M.A. CCC-SLP and Carolyn Gregory, M.A. CCC-SLP and Working With School-Age Children Who Stutter: Basic Principle Problem Solving with Kristin Chmela, M.A. CCC-SLP BCS-F.
