Nick Caruso is a speech-language pathologist who works at the Chmela Communication Center (CCC) in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. He received his Bachelor's at Elmhurst University and his Master's at Midwestern University. As a person who stutters himself, Nick has a strong passion for helping people who stutter and expanding the Camp Shout Out family. In addition to working with people who stutter, he is also the co-host of Camp Shout Out: Community Connections, a virtual experience that allows campers to stay connected throughout the year. Nick has also presented on topics such as stuttering advocacy at his former Universities, at the Illinois Speech Language Hearing Association (ISHA) Conference, and twice at the Logopediecs Conference in the Czech Republic (virtually). Nick currently lives in Chicago, IL, and enjoys watching/reviewing movies, attending Cubs games, and spending time with family and friends.
